Professional Tree Removal in Longmont, CO
Longmont, CO, has the perfect environment for cottonwood trees. It’s common for these trees in the area to grow 70 to 100 feet tall, with trunks that become extremely thick and wide crowns that add significant weight.
Planning the Tree Removal
The Top-Notch Tree Service crew walked the site and evaluated how the tree sat over the roof and driveway. Tight clearance left no room for mistakes, so the crew planned every cut before starting. They set lift points, chose the cut sequence, and positioned the crane to control each section as it came down.
Performing the Tree Removal
Once they had a solid tree removal plan, the Top-Notch Tree Service crew used a crane and bucket to support each section of the cottonwood during cutting. The ground and climbing team made sure to remain in constant communication in order to keep the property and home safe from falling limbs.
Cleanup and Future Recommendations
After the tree came down, the crew removed all debris from the property and performed stump grinding to eliminate tripping hazards and make the area immediately usable once they left. Top-Notch Tree Service also recommended that the homeowner schedule tree maintenance and tree trimming services to prevent similar issues in the future.
